Pressure Calculator

Calculate mechanical pressure, liquid pressure, and convert common pressure units.

MECHANICAL PRESSURE
0 Pa
Kilopascals0 kPa
Bar0 bar
PSI0 psi
Atmospheres0 atm
CalculationP = F ÷ A
⚙️MechanicalPressure from force acting over an area
💧HydrostaticPressure caused by a liquid column
🌍Atmospheric1 atm = 101,325 Pa
How does the Pressure Calculator work?

Mechanical pressure: divide perpendicular force by the surface area. Smaller contact areas produce greater pressure for the same force.

Liquid pressure: multiply liquid density, gravitational acceleration, and depth. Gauge pressure excludes atmospheric pressure; absolute pressure includes it.

Important: Results are educational estimates. Use calibrated instruments and professional engineering guidance for safety-critical applications.
